About The Author

Cars have been my passion since I was born. My father was a car nut, and well, the apple didn't fall far from the tree. I suppose it should have been an omen that I would be a fanatic, as I came home from the hospital in a 70's blue Ferrari.

My first "car" was the Pinewood Derby car that my father and I built when I was in cub scouts. (Emphasis for the work is on my father) I still have that car, and it's my favorite.

I also often drink too much coffee at Waffle House

Most people specialize in a particular type, model or year of car. For me, that's too limiting. I try to restore, own and drive anything I can get my hands on. Generally, this causes my neighbor to have conniption fits on a regular basis, as my driveway looks more like a used car lot (or, realistically a junk yard) than a proper driveway.

When I'm not under a car I'm doing that thing that pays the bills. For me, it's being a Systems Architect at Wells Fargo. I also spend the rest of my spare time with my family, working on my "Honey-Do list" (a.k.a. fixing the house), exploring caves, and writing.

Out in the garage I have two assistants there on every project. Due to their lack of opposable thumbs, they're primarily there for moral support, to hold down the concrete, and go for rides to the dog park at every available opportunity. These two are my dogs, Monk and Melba.

At the top of the world, or at least my old Porsche 944 with the Arizona desert in the background

I maintain (very poorly) a personal site at WWW.JodyKerr.Com
